Build in Digital covered Sensat’s platform being used by the UK Atomic Energy Authority to visualise and plan a prototype fusion energy power plant, emphasising improved understanding of complex design data.
Sensat introduced its visualisation and planning platform to support the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s STEP fusion energy programme, enabling project teams to integrate and view outline design data for a prototype power plant in a digital context. The platform brings together disparate datasets to help stakeholders deepen understanding of site conditions, project constraints and design elements in one environment.
Sensat’s technology is being used to help elevate decision-making and reduce operational risk by improving access to visual insights during early design phases of the fusion plant. By presenting complex engineering information in a unified digital format, the platform supports collaboration across internal teams and external partners involved in the project’s delivery.
