BIM+ on Sensat’s enhanced visualisation for Severn Trent

BIM+ covered Sensat’s use of its visualisation platform by Severn Trent to consolidate project data in a real-world context, supporting improved decision-making and delivery of capital infrastructure.

October 1, 2024

Sensat introduced its visualisation platform to support Severn Trent Water’s capital project delivery by allowing project teams to upload design files, flood risk layers, underground utilities and site constraints into a consolidated digital environment. The platform presents this information in real-world context, helping teams assess conditions and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Sensat’s platform is being applied by Severn Trent on strategic projects, including flood reduction initiatives, to support right-first-time decision-making, reduce disruption and enhance the likelihood of on-time delivery. By centralising disparate data in a visual context, Sensat helps operational and engineering teams collaborate and understand complex site conditions early in the project lifecycle.
